Solatrium Project

The Solatrium House pays homage to the great architectural heritage of the mid-twentieth century. It aspires to bring the best of that era into the twenty-first century and beyond. Designed for maximum integration with its site, the house is available in two, three, and four bedroom configurations that range in size from approximately 1,200 square feet, to just under 4,000 square feet. Custom versions are available.

The Solatrium house is designed to be inherently fire resistant. It utilizes tempered glass and a steel post and beam frame set on a concrete slab foundation. As shown in the renderings, a standing seam metal roof is specified. A wide variety of fire resistant materials are available for exterior cladding, including, stone, concrete, Hardie panels, SIP's, Class A treated wood, and metal. The plan offers complete flexibility in this regard.
